Grace, peace, and mercy from God our Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I have not posted in over a month due to my involvement in the ministry at the University of New Haven. God has blessed me with a position of influence in His ministry at the university and I am putting forth all my time and energy into my academics and His ministry.

In the past month and a half, I have seen people commit or recommit their lives to Christ. I have watched Christians learn how to communicate their faith, experience break throughs, and experience God in a whole new level. My friend, I wish I could communicate the joy that this brings to my heart. I am living a new life of satisfaction and peace that surpasses all understanding.

He never lets go. God never lets go. When I walked away from Him, choosing my ways over His, He never let go. When I was lost in the fog of my own sin and shame, He never let go. When I disobeyed His Word, He never let go. When I told Him I was tired of Him, He never let go. Like a man pursues the woman of His dreams, God held onto me and never let go.

So when I am asked why I love the Lord...why I pursue Him...why I share His truths with a world falling apart at its seams...why I choose a narrow way misunderstood by the world...the answer is simple...because He never let go.
